The role of data analytics in the HR industry is profound and is continuously increasing. Tableau is a business intelligence (BI) platform that provides data visualisation capabilities for organisations, which can be used to gain insightful analytical insights from HR data. Using Tableau, organisations’ HR teams can explore various visualisations of their company’s employee performance, employee engagement, and job satisfaction data to gain a better understanding of the performance of the workforce. This type of data analysis can enable HR teams to identify potential areas for improvement in employee performance and satisfaction as well as develop strategies for optimising the recruitment, retention, and engagement of the organisation’s staff. Tableau enables organisations to quickly and easily gain meaningful insights from their HR data, thereby helping them to effectively manage their workforce and maximise employee productivity.

Description

This 40 hours course is targeted towards HR managers/directors, with an objective to develop their data analytical skills and make them comfortable analysing large multiple datasets within their functional domain, using the latest tools and technologies.

All user cases are HR specific, mirroring the real world scenarios, using one of the market leading data visualisation tool, Tableau. As part of the course delegates will gain certification in Tableau.

One of the key parts of this course is the story telling with data – communication of data insights to business and technical stakeholders. Their functional knowledge, combined with the analytical and communication skills, will increase their productivity, enhance transparency and result in evidenced based business decision making.

How will I learn

Over 40 hrs you will learn practical skills that integrates rich, interactive media such as videos, screenshots and infographics, as well as traditional study notes. Learning will be collaborative through discussion forums, quizzes, assignments and through portfolio of projects.
